With sapphire-blue water everywhere, The Exumas are an exotic collection of dream destinations. Footprint-free beaches, ultra-exclusive resorts, and islands fit for celebrities make this tropical paradise an absolute gem. Here, nature outnumbers man, coastlines remain flawless and private homes play host to some of the world’s most famous stars. The Exumas truly are the ultimate escape.

The Exumas are an archipelago of 365 cays and islands, beginning just 35 miles southeast of Nassau. The islands are divided into three major areas—Great Exuma, Little Exuma, and The Exuma Cays. Each one offers its own unique experience. Great Exuma and Little Exuma are known for their laidback surroundings, while The Exuma Cays act as a playground for the rich and famous, boasting numerous private homes, luxury resorts and beachside condos.

The Exuma Cays are the areas we will be exploring on this charter. Having spent the last 12 years working in these remote exclusive islands…Billy has developed great knowledge of the area and what it has to offer. This is your chance to experience it like not many have. Some notable sites:

Pipe Creek

Though there are many sand bars spread across the Bahamas, the Exuma cays sand bar at Pipe Creek is often noted as the finest in the region. For those that take the time to get an up close view of the Exuma Cays sand bar, wading through the narrow and shallow channels, you will be rewarded with exotic marine life, seclusion, and water so blue you will think you are imagining things. This is also one of the best kiteboarding spots around! The surrounding low lying cays allow for perfectly flat water while offering ankle to waist deep water with multiple color changes.

Danger Reef

Feel like some adventure! How about a swim with some sharks?! Danger reef is a popular dive spot where you can jump in the water being surrounded by tons of reef sharks and other large fish. Don’t be scared! They usually wont bother you. But seeing these beauties in their natural environment is quite invigorating!

Osprey Cay

Osprey Cay is a private island within the Exumas Land and Sea Park. This little sandbar island is an amazing kiteboarding spot. It is also a conch breeding ground. It gets its name from the large Osprey nest that is nestled on one of the corners. You often see the family of Osprey that live on this cay. The sandbar that shoots of this island extends for about a mile or more. At low tide, this is fully exposed offering great flat water for kiteboarding. Located just across from Johnny Depp’s island, this island was used to film parts of the Pirates of Caribbean movie.

Boat specifications

We are doing our best to include everything in this full Catamaran Charter! The only possible additional costs we can anticipate are as follows:

1.) Flights to and from Nassau. Don’t forget to bring your kite gear! There is some gear available on the boat but its best to bring your own equipment.

2.) Tips for the crew. Typically 10-15% of booking cost

3.) Food and Alchohol Expenses. You will work with chef to find the right meals and setup for you. 

4.) Mooring or Docking Fees. If the group decides to dock for a night in one of the Marinas, the cost will be split between guests. The Exumas Land and Sea Park sometimes charges for mooring within the park boundaries ($70 a night for a boat of this size)

5.) Any other additional expenses or taxes

Rates will be split into Staterooms.  There are three rooms available as described below. The Master can sleep 3 guests. The VIP and Double each sleep 2 people. Prices are per stateroom, not per person. Please contact us if you would like to have more than 2 people in the VIP/Double or 3 people in the Master. We are hoping to sell these as “staterooms” to avoid pairing with people you do not know or know well. We are not ruling this out though so if you are interested in the charter but do not have a roommate lined up, please let us know!!!

Master– $14,000 (up to 3 people)

VIP- $8,999 (up to 2 people)

Billy Bosch

Certifications obtained: IKO Level 2 Kiteboarding Instructor, PADI Dive Master, CPR and First Aid Examiner, STCW (yacht training), Bachelors in Civil Engineering

Billy has been working on private islands and charter boats in the Cays of the Exumas for over 10 years. His experience has given him a real local knowledge of the area. Spending countless hours on the water and exploring the area, he has learned it like it’s his backyard. The Exuma Cays have been a popular destination for yachts and high-end clientele for years. Due to the limited availability of hotels and limited access to flights, the Exumas have been difficult to reach for the average working person. Working with these clients over the years, Billy has always wanted to share this amazing place with his Florida clients and friends. Now he has developed an affordable way to experience the amazing water of the Exumas while maintaining a true luxurious experience.

Over the years, Billy has explored tons of top notch kiteboarding spots in the area. If you ask anyone well traveled, they will tell you “there is no water like the Exumas”. And well…this is true! The crystal clear water of the Exumas offer an experience and views like no other! Some spots are rarely visited by anyone else.
